Oh, Hello!
My name is Alex Claiborne and I have over six years of professional audio production experience, producing over 300 episodes of the nationally-broadcasted music radio talk show and podcast, Sound Opinions.
I’m skilled at executing the editorial process from start to finish, which includes brainstorming ideas, booking guests, script writing, audio recording, editing and distribution. I also have experience creating on-air reported pieces (among other things.)

As of August 2020, I am working as an independent contractor! I currently work for Sound Opinions, Inc. as a producer and do freelance work for companies like Religion of Sports.
From 2014 - 2020, I worked on WBEZ Chicago’s Sound Opinions. I began as an intern and worked my way up to Producer Level II. I previously worked as a fill-in producer and intern at WGN Radio, freelance television critic for Isthmus Magazine and a Community Writer for BuzzFeed.
I’m based in Chicago, but available to work remotely.
